With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ricarda Lynn Holmen of Springfield, Wisconsin, born in Madison, Wisconsin, who passed away on August 8, 2021 at the age of 65. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard "Bud" and Lucille Slaughter (Browne); her brother Patrick Slaughter; and her son James Degenhardt. She is survived by: her husband Dean Holmen; her stepson Jason Holmen (Laura); her siblings-in-law, Dale Holmen (Deb), Paula Erickson (Dave) and Judy Slaughter; and her uncle Ron Browne (Jan). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
