He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Orville Pence and Irene Katherine Pence; his brother Richard (Ruth); and his daughter Kathrine. He is survived by: his wife Ruth Gueldner; his children, Lynn Leazer (Dick), Mary Pence (Chuck Croal), Jennifer Goodwin (Erik) and Richard Pence (Diane); and his grandchildren, Elizabeth Palvere (Justin), Steven Leazer (Erin), Sara Stanton, Katherine Pence, William Pence, Joseph Goodwin and Kelly Goodwin. He is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren.
