He was predeceased by: his parents, William Hofacker and Martha Hofacker (Lashinger); his wife Dorothy Wakefield; and his sisters, Dorothy (Clarence Stratton) and Betty (Ed Sabelko).
He is survived by: his children, Ed Hofacker (Gail) of Spring Valley, Dan Hofacker (Lorrie) of Eau Claire, Sue Whirry (Calvin) of Spring Valley and Cindy Hewitt (Ed) of Red Wing. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren; and many great grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
