He is survived by: his mother Dorothy McCorison; his wife Karen; his children, Mayme Simms (Conner), Anna Mangan (Jamil), Erica Phelps (Tyler), Benjamin McCorison and Phillip McCorison (Cassandra); his grandchildren, Kennedy, Phoebe, Sydney, Rowan, Guinevere and Collins; his mother-in-law Mary High; and his siblings, Steven McCorison (Shari), Jennifer Pedersen (Darrell), Julie Schumacher (Miles), Carol Gist (Arthur), Daniel McCorison (Mary Jo) and David McCorison (Nicole). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
A memorial service was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Hennepin Avenue United Methodist Church (511 Groveland Ave, Minneapolis, MN 55403).
