He was predeceased by: his parents, Mardell Blegen and Henry Blegen; his brother Doug; his brother-in-law Palmer Lynum; and his parents-in-law, Clemens and Marie Hulverson.
He is survived by: his wife Donna; his sons, Bryce and Eric; his grandson Gus of Grapeview, WA; his brothers, Dean (Jo Ellen), Dennis (Barb) and Delmer (Sandy); and his siblings-in-law, David Hulverson (Leona), Carole Lynum and Jean Blegen. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the St. John's Lutheran Church (4190 County Trunk Hwy B, Spring Valley, WI 54767). A memorial service was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A celebration of life was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 3:30 PM to 6:00 PM at the Elmwood Auditorium (323 W Winter Ave, Elmwood, WI 54740).
