He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Jack Wheeler and Katherine Wheeler of Hudson, WI; his siblings, Elizabeth, Abigail and Josiah; his grandparents, Chuck Wheeler (Sona) of Oakdale, MN, Bonnie Wheeler of Hudson, WI, John and Juliana Mayne of Sioux City, IA; his uncle Wiley Mayne, II (Kristen) of Omaha, NE; his aunt Juliana Marya Mayne of Sioux Falls, SD; his cousin Silas Mayne of Omaha, NE.; his uncle Joey Wheeler; and his caregivers, Rachel, Sarah and Dr. Kevin Hallman.

A graveside service was held on Friday, August 30th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the St. John's Lutheran Cemetery (E811 WI-29, Spring Valley, WI 54767). A funeral service was held on Friday, August 30th 2024 at 1:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Grace Baptist Church of Stillwater, MN, and Halos of the Saint Croix Valley.
