He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold Holz and Urma Holz (Stoos); and his siblings, Roger and Catherine. He is survived by: his friends, Steve and Joe; his wife Rebecca Johnson; his daughters, Megan Laudenbach (Andy) and Emily Ross (Kevin); his grandchildren, Norah and Hugo Laudenbach; and his brother Del Holz (Alice). He is also survived by many relatives and friends.

The family prefers Memorials be donated to the Cure Alzheimer's Fund.
