With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert S. Murphy of Spring Green, Wisconsin, born in Arena, Wisconsin, who passed away on January 21, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Murphy and Gladys Murphy (Stebnitz). He is survived by: his sibling Arena; his wife Donna Murphy; his children, Chris (Teryl), Dan, Joe (Virginia), Kevin (Sarah) and Jennifer; his grandchildren, Courtney, Jordan, Calley, Jacob, Corin, Max, Maddy, Chloe, Hannah, Abel, Lauren, Sylvie, Harlan and Jonah; his great grandchildren, Jake and Lynn; and his siblings, Francis, Earl (Marie), Glady, Janet and Patricia (Merle).

Visitation was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Luke's Catholic Church (1240 Nachreiner Ave, Plain, WI 53577). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A celebration of life was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at 13220 Shifflet Rd, Spring Green, WI 53588.

“I'd like to express my heart felt sympathies to Donna and the extended family. I've known Bob since he first hired me at Westbrook in the spring of 1990. It was an easy decision to go work for Bob because of his warmth and easy-going character. I really enjoyed my 26 years at Westbrook and Bob's friendship. I don't know why, but anytime that there was a Euchre game happening, he always picked me for a partner, and it seems that we always lost. I will miss him. Jim Geishirt”
