He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Burmeister and Leona Burmeister (Mau); his son Steven; his nephew Tim Hoeper; his brother Charles; and his siblings-in-law, Don Brooker, Ronald Roethlisberger, Jim Winslow, Joseph, Vernon Hoeper, Evelyn Rothlisberger and Katheryn Hoeper.
He is survived by: his wife Delores Hoeper of Joseph's Church; his children, Connie Weiss of Fort Myers, FL, Robert Jr. (Jody) of Stoughton, WI, Amy Carpenter (Tom) of Bella Vista, AR and Beth Bauer (Jim) of Sturgeon Bay, WI.; his grandchildren, Alicia Carpenter, Nicole Esser (Nick), Rachel Taylor (Jay), Lexiee Wewel (Patrick), Jessica Kibler (Dave), Taylor Omernick, Ziandrea Bauer, Torey Carpenter (Heather), Josh Burmeister (Ashley) and Emalyn Bauer; his great grandchildren, Connor, Sophia Esser, Clayton, Declan Kibler, Everett Carpenter, Levi, Jackson Wewel, Koleson Omernick and Dawson Burmeister; his sister Darlene Brooker; and his siblings-in-law, Mary Winslow, Mary Hoeper, Joan Hoeper and Ervin Hoeper.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Richardson-Stafford Funeral Home (780 N Winsted St, Spring Green, WI 53588). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be gifted to the family to be designated to Agrace Hospice Care.
