He is survived by: his mother Carol Meixelsperger (Liegel); his children, Nathan Meixelsperger (Lisa), Tezra Menne (Mark) and Erin Lane (Christopher); his grandchildren, Jacob, Olivia Menne and Brittany Baker; his great grandchild Lylianah Baker; and his siblings, Jane Prouty (Timm), Ruth Schreiner (Fred), Jeff Meixelsperger (Mary), Mary Andrews (Bernie), Rory Meixelsperger (Tracey) and Mike Meixelsperger (Lauri). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established in Rick's memory.
