She was predeceased by: her parents, John B. Jarmuz and Eleanor Dorothy Jarmuz (Waldoch); her husband Paul Steep; and her brother William Jarmuz. She is survived by: her daughter Christine Clement; her son-in-law Tom Schmitz of Spring Green; her sister Susann Weishaar of Kenosha; her children, Christopher, William and Michelle; her brother Michael Jarmuz (Marianne) of Campbellsport, WI; her nieces and nephews, Shawn, David and Brian; and her godchildren, Theresa Wroblewski (Jeff), Kelly Recker (Steven), Kimberly Wroblewski, Jesse Wroblewski (Kelsey) and Jason Wroblewski (Meg). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, stepchildren, step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, those wishing to honor her life may make a memorial in her name to the Argyle American Legion Auxiliary for an educational scholarship.
