In loving memory of Elaine V. Ilminen (Spring Green, Wisconsin), who departed this world on February 8, 2025 at the age of 98. Elaine leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Fiilus Paavola and Ida Paavola (Mattila) of Kimball; her husband Roy A. Ilminen; and her siblings, Elsie LaClaw and Raymond Paavola.
She is survived by: her children, Randy (Jan Ilminen), Cheryl (Stan Wildenberg), Madison and Gary Ilminen (Jacci Shauger); her extended family, Carolee Russell, Linda, Lawrence Folstad, Madison, Lori Ilminen, LeeAnn Ilminen, Duluth, Jesse Ilminen (LeeAnn Taylor), Brady, Mechaela Ilminen, Elaina Ilminen, Matthew and Robyn Wildenberg; her great grandchildren, Lukah, Lilith Ilminen-Myers, Imogen, Ella Wildenberg and Luna Ray Ilminen; and also Lisa Ilminen. She is also survived by seven grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (E5104 E Margaret St, Ironwood, MI 49938).
