He was predeceased by: his parents, John C. Ruhland and Elizabeth Ruhland (Hartl); and his siblings, Sylvester, John, Alfred, Ray, Francis, Amelia, Bernadine, Elizabeth and Rose.
He is survived by: his wife Sally Ruhland; his children, Steve Ruhland (Holly), Duane Ruhland (Julie), Diane Brent (Greg), Rhonna Hetzel (Larry), Sandy Ruhland (Dave), Laurie Haas (Bob) and Cheri Carpenter (Bill); his siblings, Ralph Ruhland (Pat) and Lorraine Runyan; and his siblings-in-law, Rita Heimbecker, Mary Seiler, Rosie Hellenbrand, Vince Hellenbrand (Betty), Pat Wagner and Sam Taylor. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
