He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Russell and Julia Russell (Peaslee) of Woodman, WI.; his wives, Jeanne Brown and Lorraine Baker; his siblings, Carroll, Bernard Russell (Alice), Genevieve Mayne (Floyd), Vera Wachter (Russell), Helen Tucker (Gay), Irene Fritz (Earl) and Paul Russell (Harriet); his son Carroll; and his stepson Bob Baker.
He is survived by: his daughters, Ellen Stroud (Dick), Kathy Kieler (Mike) and Heidi Sawyer (Gus); and his stepchildren, Diane Baker (Buck Volden), Pam Soltau (Rick), Roger Baker (Vicky) and Karen Crume (Randy). He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
