He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Reuben "Floyd" Cairns and Nellie Cairns (Thompson); his children, Todd Sherva (Deb) of Ham Lake, MN, Katie Carsi (Larry) of St. Louis Park, MN, David Cairns of Little Canada, MN and Tim Cairns of Holcomb, WI; his grandchildren, Daniel, Jessica, Dominic, Mary-Kate, Thor and Kara; his great grandchildren, Hugo, Brock and Wyatt; his siblings, Bobby Cairns (Melba) of Frederic, WI and Sandy Tisdale of Milwaukee, WI.; his wife Mary Lou; his daughter Brenda Cairns; and his sister Darlene Nelson.
