He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Ripley and Adelheit Ripley (Rabold); and his former wife Rayola Elaine Shoquist. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Durand Meier; and his children, Bruce Ripley, Amy Ripley, Marc Ripley, Rebecca Meier Thompson (Bryan), Rory Meier (Pam), Tammera Meier Tyree (Marty), Kurt Meier (Karla), Gerald Ripley (Ingrid), William Ripley (Jenny) and John Ripley (Jennifer). He is also survived by 26 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; many in-laws, and nieces and nephews.
