He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Ostenson and Martha Ostenson; his siblings, Edwin Jr. and Eloise; and his daughter Cyndria Lee (Coaty).

He is survived by: his wife Ilene Yvonne (Nelson); and his children, Robert II, Cheryl Soelle (Brent), David (LouAnn), Yvonne Ellingson (Edward), Judy Juarez and Debra Dreyer (Troy). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, 30 grandchildren and 48 great-grandchildren.

“Kathy and I loved Bob and his family. Bob always told me was born 100 years too late. That he would loved to trap back in the 1800s when beaver and other animals were plentiful! He was also so encouraging when it came to things of the Lord. My family and I will miss his smiling face at the door of Spooner Baptist.”
