She was predeceased by: her grandparents, George and Lyda Pierce; her parents, Earl Hanson (Tad) and Elva Pierce; her husband Robert I Vig; her children, Brenda Lea Vig and John Robert Vig; and her great grandchild Harper Holmstrom.

She is survived by: her daughter Laurie Vig Rodriguez (John Rodriguez); her grandchildren, Carl Johnson, Stacey Vig, Angie Johnson, Alicia Vig, Kristine Johnson, Robert Vig, Lindsey Roberg and Amanda Holmstrom; her great grandchildren, Dylan Johnson, Emma Johnson, Chloe Herrick, Olive Holmstrom, Piper Roberg, Sawyer Roberg and Scarlett Holmstrom; and her sisters-in-law, Blanche Vig, Delores Vig, Marilyn Vig and Jean Richards. She is also survived by her numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
