He was predeceased by: his parents, Grace (McNitt) and Frank Bartle; his wife Dianne Lindenfelser; his sisters, Marvel Bartle, LaQuita Thompson and Joy Parker; and his son-in-law Leonard Scalzo.
He is survived by: his children, Dan Bartle (Terry), Colleen Scalzo (Jim Perlick) and Patrick Bartle (Michelle); his grandson Michael Bartle (Carlene); and his brother Gary Bartle (Sharon). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
