He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth J. Harmon and Evelyn Harmon (Falk); his wife Carleen Root; his son Ken Harmon; and his sister Glenny Jones.

He is survived by: his daughter Laurie Frey (Pat) of Sarona, WI; his grandsons, Andrew Frey (Emily) and Steven Frey (Lauren); and his siblings, Barb Petit (Jim) of Solon Springs, WI, Dick Harmon of Minong, WI and Tom Harmon of Eau Claire, WI. He is also survived by two great grandchildren.
