It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Karen Schultz (Spooner, Wisconsin), born in Canby, Minnesota, who passed away on September 9, 2019, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgil Kockelman and Regina Kockelman (Lindeman); and her sister Judy Halvorson. She is survived by: her husband Mark Schultz; her children, Jeanine Merrill (Ethan), Patryce Garcia (Tate) and Mariah Schultz; her grandchildren, Malachi Garcia and Baby Garcia; and her siblings, Jerry Kockelman (Lavonne), Greg Kockelman (Linda) and Pat Callens (Rick). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, family and friends.
Karen and her family have requested that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Karen's charity of choice: Food for the Poor at 6401 Lyons Rd, Coconut Creek, FL 33073, foodforthepoor.org.
