She was predeceased by: her parents, George Leonhard and Jessie Leonhard (Van Heesch); and her siblings, Paul Leonhard (Dorothy), Jim Leonhard (Bonnie), Tom Leonhard (Betty), Jane Laub (Joe), Mary Barfknecht (Ron) and Helen Swanson (Ed).
She is survived by: her husband Gary Kunkel; her sons, Kurt Kunkel (Dena) of Spooner and Keith Kunkel (Lori) of Monticello, IL; and her siblings, Jean Doughty (Walt) of Ladysmith and George Leonhard (Tina Sokolowski) of Weston, WI.. She is also survived by four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, two step-grandchildren and one step-great-grandchild.
