It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John C. Hovey of Spooner, Wisconsin, who passed away on July 9, 2022, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Hovey and Rena Hovey; and his siblings, Bill (Mary), Art (Marie), Jim (Mabel) and Gen Fernstrom (Grant).
He is survived by: his wife Edna Foss (Eddie); his daughter Barb; and his nieces and nephews, Duffy Sauer (Bill), Gary Hovey and Carol Hovey.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Spooner United Methodist Church, Glenview Assisted Living in Shell Lake, or Spooner Railroad Park.
