It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John L. Brown of Spooner, Wisconsin, who passed away on October 3, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint John leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 10th 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM and on Saturday, October 12th 2024 at 1:00 PM. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, October 10th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church (409 N Summit St, Spooner, WI 54801). The military honors was held on Saturday, October 12th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Northern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery (N4063 Veterans Way, Spooner, WI 54801).
In lieu of flowers suggested memorial donations can be directed to: Alzheimer's Day Respite Program "Happy Day Club," Spooner, WI; Glenview Assisted Living, Shell Lake, WI; or St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church or School, Spooner, WI.
