He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Markgren and Ellen Markgren (Hergert); and his siblings, Mary Ellen and Steve. He is survived by: his wife Linda; and his brother Phil Markgren (Nancy). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers family is requesting memorials be made to the Exceptional Rodeo or the Trinity Lutheran Church in Spooner.
