James Root Obituary
With profound sadness, we say goodbye to James Root of Spooner, Wisconsin, born in Donnelly, Minnesota, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. James left this world on October 29, 2024 at the age of 72, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Root and Dolores Root; and his brother Randy. He is survived by: his wife Beverly Root (Smith); his children, Heidi Root, Kristin "Libby" Root of Spooner and James M. Root of River Falls, WI; his grandchildren, Madelyn, Hazel Morrison, Harper and Dawson Bartle of Spooner; and his siblings, Sheryl Hansen (Charles) of Loveland, CO, Dennis Root of Pine City, MN, Terry Root (Martha) of Cody, WY, Tim Root (Deb) of Donnelly, MN and Angela Root of Madison, SD. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church (409 N Summit St, Spooner, WI 54801). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
