It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evelyn Melton (Spooner, Wisconsin), who passed away on December 11, 2024, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Waite and Mildred Waite (Johnson); her husband Cecil Melton; her son-in-law Don Trott; her great grandchild Tyson Garcia; her great great grandchild Evah; and her siblings, Norman Waite and Eileen.
She is survived by: her children, Homer Melton (Estell) of Danbury, Vicki Trott of Spooner, Richard Melton (Karen) of Shell Lake, Peggy Vesta (Jeff) of Spooner, Allan Melton (Julie) of Shell Lake and Robin Melton of Burnsville, MN. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 44 great grandchildren, and 19 great great grandchildren.
