He was predeceased by: his parents, James Jacobson and Clara Jacobson (Smeland); his wife Carol; his children, Karen Eldred and Daniel Jacobson; and his siblings, Jerry, Pauline and Jean.
He is survived by: his daughter Mary Maderich (Dan) of Ashland, WI; his children-in-law, Mark Eldred of Plymouth, MN and Rhoda Jacobson of Mt. Gretna, PA; his grandchildren, Holly, Lauren Maderich of Ashland, WI, Eric, Aaron Eldred of Plymouth, MN, Ian Jacobson and Owen Jacobson of Lancaster, WI; and his sisters, Nancy Orlady (Roger) of Neenah, WI, Janet Fremsted (Ken) of Stanley, WI and Barbara Schmitt of North Carolina.
