He is survived by: his wife Cynthia; his children, Blaine (Kelli) of Bruce, WI, David, Jr. (Elaine) of Vermilion, Joy (Mike) of Barron, WI, Jason (Becky) of Verndale, MN and Jerusha (Ben) of Spooner, WI; his grandchildren, Samantha, Mara, Bella, David III, SaVannah, Ensign, OceAnne, Zefram, Trygve, ChriStella, Ruth, Ilija, Llewe, Cordell, Opal, Charmaine, Patrick, Emily, Ruby, Sam, Uriah, Ilias, Grace, Brady, Analise, Rallye and Kenneth; his great grandchildren, Delilah of David and Bentlee; his siblings, RuthAnne, Alice, Lyle and Blaine; and also Alberta.
