He was predeceased by: his brother John Mundt; and his siblings-in-law, Charles L. Sulzbach, Dorothy Mundt and Joan Mundt. He is survived by: his child Starcraft; his wife Catherine L. Mundt; his children, Mary Lou Tarvers (Tony), Daniel Mundt Jr., Martha Haessly (Murphy), David Mundt and Sarah Zarbock (Kurt); his grandchildren, Brandon (Becky), Carolyn (Ryan), Amy (Hank), Laura, Christopher (Emily), Scott, Ashley (Travis) and Katie; his great grandchildren, William, Michal, Liam, Logan, Brody, Lyla, Blais, Breckon, George, Robert and Violet; his brother Frederick JC Mundt; and his brother-in-law William L. Sulzbach.
