He was predeceased by: his parents, Woodrow and Audrey Schmutzler, Sr. (Hanne); his sisters, Darlene Schmutzler and Sally Bauer; and his sister-in-law Sandra Schmutzler.
He is survived by: his cousins, Dean Witte and Frank Gustafson; his son-in-law Dan; his grandsons, Sawyer and Mason; his former wife Diane Halverson; his wife Sherry Valle; his children, Lore Jean Ingram (Roy) of Wisconsin Rapids, Wendy Jo Markworth (Christopher) of Marshfield and Todd Allen Schmutzler (Diane) of Riplinger; his stepdaughters, Michelle Marie Bores of Marshfield, Wendy Anne Pierce (Robert) of Greenwood Village, CO and Sara Catherine Weitzenkamp (Daniel) of Houlton, WI; his granddaughter Jessica Jo Simm (Allison) of Madison; his children, Audrina, Archer, Tanya Fox (Brandon) of Vesper, Eisley, Hailey, Huntley, Matthew Ponshock (Sammie) of Marshfield, Amelia, Charlotte, Brandon White (Jessica Bauer) and Mason Schmutzler of Riplinger; his brothers, James Schmutzler (Elsie) of Riplinger and Allen Schmutzler (Penny) of Riplinger; and his sister-in-law Sharleen Birschbach of Lamartine. He is also survived by his extended family including 4 step-grandchildren and six step-great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews.
