He was predeceased by: his brother Todd Zimmerman; and his mother-in-law Carol Helmeid. He is survived by: his parents, Larry Zimmerman and Carol Zimmerman (Crave); his children, Aaron (Leeah Zimmerman) and Ashley (Jack Crowson); his wife Cheryl Helmeid; his daughters, Katelyn Zimmerman and Cortney Zimmerman; his siblings, Greg (Sharon Zimmerman), Jill Welke and Scot (Jenny Zimmerman); and his father-in-law Robert Helmeid. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.

A memorial fund will be established in Mark's name.
