He was predeceased by: his father Norman Krause; his daughter Sarah Krause; his mother Wilma Neumann (Bruss); his stepfather Walter Neumann; his in-laws, Orville and Ellen Luchterhand; and his son-in-law Marv Richmond.

He is survived by: his wife Patsy Jean Luchterhand; his children, Amy Brooks (Brent) of Spencer, Gayle Post (John) of Spencer, Rebecca Kulas (Greg) of Medford and Ron Krause of Spencer; his grandchildren, Jacob Oldenberg (Becky) of Elkridge, MD, Erica Gardner (Glen) of Wausau, Daniel Richmond (Emily Nemitz) of Pearl Harbor, HI, Lucas Brooks of Spencer, Emma Brooks (Maddy Wallace) of Spencer, Erin Brooks (Tanner Vancour) of Spencer, Calvin Lenz (Brooke) of Spencer, Brandon Lenz (Dolorosa Thomas) of Spencer, Austin Mientke (Maddie McPhee) of Medford and Kaileigh Mientke of Medford; his stepgrandchildren, Dominic Post (Ava Spooner), Derick Post, Dalton Post, Ashley Quartaro and Angi Berend (Stephen); his great grandchildren, Liam Kline, Quincy Gardner of Wausau, Laikyn and Peyton Lenz of Spencer; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Aftyn Quartaro and Kolton Berend; and his siblings, Mark Krause (Pam) of Spencer and Sandra Schauer (Ken) of Republic, WA. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
