He was predeceased by: his parents, Rudolph "Rudy" and Vera Schweke-Mellenthin (Huber); and his stepfather Elder Mellenthin. He is survived by: his wife Joan Schweke of Spencer; his children, Brenda Monness (Ken) and Roger Schweke; and his grandchildren, Ashley Schoch (Adrian), Justin Monness (Tonya) and RoxAnn Schweke. He is also survived by his stepsister along with other relatives and friends.
