He was predeceased by: his parents, Glen Rose and Dorothy Rose (Weiland); his wife Margie Rose; his siblings, Erlin, Duane, Robert Rose, Janet Schiferl and Betty Pernsteiner; and his brothers-in-law, Joey Martin and Roger Bymers.

He is survived by: his sister Mary Ann Bymers of Spencer; his sisters-in-law, Berdie Rose of Spencer, Mary Kilth of Edgar, Barb Mechelke of Loyal, Theresa Schwantes of Marshfield, Helen Beaver of Colby and Janet Rose of South Carolina; and also, Dan Martin of Spooner, John Schiferl of Washington and Joseph Pernsteiner.

If desired, memorials are being accepted by the family in Donnie's name for a charity yet to be determined.
