He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Mroz and Margaret Mroz. He is survived by: his wife Beth Mroz; his sons, Michael Mroz (Christina) and Clinton Oelhafen (Amber); his grandchildren, Hannah, Kaleb, Elsa, Ellianna Mroz, Alex and Macie Oelhafen; and his brother Dan Mroz (Claire).

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Dale Mroz Memorial Scholarship Fund which will assist students of Spencer High School who are pursuing a career in auto mechanics.
