He was predeceased by: his parents, Adelbert Wells and Elsie Wells (Dux); his sisters, Adella Friske and Marguerite Friske; his brothers-in-law, Norbert Friske and Norman Friske; his brother Donald Wells; and his sister-in-law Kathryn Wells.

He is survived by: his wife Jeanne Kobiske; and his children, Larry Wells (Bonnie) of Phoenix, AZ and Sharon Gress (Scott) of Neillsville, WI.. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
