She was predeceased by: her father George "Diddy" Mess; her grandparents, Lillian Johnsrud, George Sr. and Gladyce Mess; her uncle Teddy Woodkey; and her godchild Rodi Erickson.
She is survived by: her mother Jean Mess; her husband Patrick Long; her brothers, Randy Mess (Rodi) and Glenn Mess (Bobby Nollenberg); and her nephew Derek Mess. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, monetary contributions to support her grandchildren's future education endeavors would be preferred.
