He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Bauer and Alice Bauer (Rottscheit); his sister Denise Pichler; his brother-in-law Eugene Schmidt; and his grandson Chad Vollmer.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Bellcock; his children, Angela Bauer of Wausau, Jason Bauer (Stephanie) of Colby, Shawn Bauer of Spencer and Jennifer Nelson (Brandon) of Abbotsford; his grandchildren, Erin Vollmer, Matthew Vollmer, Rachel Vollmer, Brian Bauer (Ashley), Bradley Bauer, Timothy Bauer, Jonathon Bauer and Aria Nelson; his great grandchildren, Zachary, Adrianna, Hayden, Carly and Blake; and his siblings, Barbara Sternweis (Glen), Sheila Schmidt, Keith Bauer (Marcy) and Holly Zopfi (Gary). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
