He was predeceased by: his parents, Ted Schanhofer and Josie Schanhofer (Meyer). He is survived by: his wife Amelia "Amy" Schwarz; his sons, Will (Kate), John (Lee), Jeff (Amy), Bryan (Christina) and Andrew (Alexandria); and his grandchildren, Amelia, Ty, Addison, David, Jack, Ellee, Trygve, Myra, Ava, Loren, Norah, Aria and Ana.
