He was predeceased by: his parents, Erwin Verken and Nancy Verken (Hendersin); and his brother Randy Verken. He is survived by: his daughters, Karla Balogh (Johnny) of Henderson, NV and Wendi McDonnell (Frank) of Sandy Hook, VA; his grandchildren, Rebecca Sylvester (Clay) of Winston, OR, Ryan McDonnell of Sandy Hook, VA and Gage McDonnell of Sandy Hook, VA; and his brother Bradley Verken (Julie). He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
