It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Walter Mattson (Sparta, Wisconsin), who passed away on January 22, 2019, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Walter Mattson to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret; his parents, Rupert and Anna; his son Ronald Mattson; and his siblings, Roy, Melvin, Oswald and Thelma.
He is survived by: his children, Stan Mattson of Mauston, Jerrilyn Garza (Jim) of Sparta and Bruce Mattson (Kathy Maurer) of Sparta; his grandchildren, Christy, Janie, Jay, Christopher and Brian; and his great grandchildren, Nathan, Alecia, Lionel and Hunter. He is also survived by several great great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Sparta Area Cancer Support (SACS).
