With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Vernon C. Leis of Sparta, Wisconsin, who passed away on June 4, 2023 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Leis and Marie Leis (Barlow); and his sister Karen Foellmi. He is survived by: his wife Carol Leis of Sparta; and his children, Crystal Gotthardt (David) of South Haven, KS, Sara Fennert (James) of Sparta, Jeri Leis of Hutchinson, KS, Deanna Anderson (Andy) of Sparta, Julie Statom (William) and EJ Wallace of New Lisbon. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
