He was predeceased by: his wife Alta Emery; his mother Alta; his children, Harvey Thomas (Ellen) and Lori Lynn; his siblings, Cecil, Harry, Don Hemstock and Fay Schlaver; and his siblings-in-law, Louis Schlaver, Floyd Nichols, Midge Hemstock (Cecil), Ruth Hemstock (Harry) and Loyes Hemstock (Don).
He is survived by: his daughter Sherri LaCourse (John); his sister Gladys Nichols; and his grandchildren, Michael LaCourse of Portland, Oregon, Jason LaCourse of La Crosse, Wisconsin, Anne Hemstock (Mike Olvera) of Appleton and Brian Hemstock of Chicago, Illinois..
