He is survived by: his children, Rebecca Murray, Megan Murray and Clayton Murray; his grandchildren, Ana, Sariya Olson, Elsa and Emmett Murray; and his siblings, Mary Alsteen, Bill Murray, Pat Wood, John Murray, Cathy Campbell, Joe Murray, Anne Murray Olson and John Reindl.

He considered AA a family and donated his time and passion to sponsor others.
