He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Knoll and Vera Knoll (Amborn). He is survived by: his nephew Nate Knoll; his wife Patti Rowan of Sparta; and his siblings, Rick Rowan (June) of Portland, Sharon Adams of Sparta, David Rowan (Carrie) of Sparta, Brian Rowan of Sparta, Ronald Knoll (Linda) of Sparta, Nathan Knoll (Lynette) of Burns, Tim Knoll of Appleton, Marilyn Knoll-Johnson (Dick) and Jean Lunstrom. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be offered to St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church, Sparta.
