He was predeceased by: his parents, Lyn "Sam" E. Nichols and Theresa E. Nichols (Hoffman); and his siblings, Kenny Bainter, Ellen Nichols, Jean Powers and Bill Hathcock.
He is survived by: his son Trevor Nichols; his close friend Holly Bainter; and his siblings, Barbara Schedler, Steve Hathcock, Molly Jensen and Ed Nichols. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
