Ronald G. Ziegler Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ronald G. Ziegler of Sparta, Wisconsin, who passed away on December 26, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ronald G. Ziegler to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Milburn Ziegler and Edith Ziegler (Sturdevent); his former wife Christine Braun (Chris); and his sister-in-law Cindy Ziegler. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Ilich; his children, Ryan Ziegler (Jackie), Raegan Anick (Adam) and Jessica Ilich (Sam Monroe); his grandchildren, Audrey, Nolan and Hudson; and his siblings, Charlie Ziegler (Joyce), Gerald Ziegler (Marie), JoAnn Skram (Al), Roger Ziegler and Susan Isensee (Dale). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and countless friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Lanham-Schanhofer Funeral Home and Cremation (106 W Franklin St, Sparta, WI 54656). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location. The military honors was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 at 12:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at the Pinelawn Memorial Park (10700 W Capitol Dr, Milwaukee, WI 53222).
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations that will be presented to the Second Infantry Regiment Association in Pigeon Forge this May.
