He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Anderson and Pearl Anderson; and his adoptive parents, Carl Thorsen and Melinda Thorsen. He is survived by: his wife Carol Thorsen (Randall) of Sparta; his children, Shelley Nichols of Pembine, WI and Ricky Thorsen of Green Bay, WI; his granddaughter Chelsey Willms of Onalaska; his great grandchildren, Caden and Corbin Willms; and his siblings, Clifford Anderson Jr. (Barbara) of Westby, WI, Dorothy Dahlen of Coon Valley, WI and Gloria Gerard (Steve) of Spring Grove, MN..
Due to COVID19 a drive thru visitation for Roger will be held from 1 p. m. until 4 p. m on Sunday, April 26, 2020 at Lanham-Schanhofer Funeral Home, Sparta.
All memorials may be given to Sparta High School Athletics, The Boys and Girls Club or Trinity Lutheran Church.
