He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Munger and Anna Munger (Schwanke); his wife Edith Munger (Spitzner); his siblings, Gretta Trainer, Doreen Green, Daniel (Rosemary Becker), Rolf Spitzner (Marta) and Gerhard Spitzner (Marga); and his nieces and nephews, Jack Green, John Trainer, Susan Becker and Kay Reilly (Tom).
He is survived by: his sons, Donald Munger (Jane) and Randy Munger (Kari); his grandchildren, Hannah, Laura, Ian, Maddie Munger and Kristin Betts (Brian); his great grandchildren, Elsa and Lilah Betts; and his nieces and nephews, Alice Durkin (Andy), Phillip Green (Lorrie) of Sparta, Jeanne Beyer of Sparta, Anita Schultz (Lloyd) of Ettrick, Deborah Drake (David), Angela Hughes (David) of Mindoro, Stephen Becker (Kelley) of Sparta, Wolfgang, Jurgen, Tomas and Harold Spitzner of Germany.
